Randy’s passion is teaching and preaching God’s Word! He enjoys communicating the deep truths of Scripture in creative, interesting, practical, and clearly- understandable ways for both seasoned Bible readers and newbies who’ve never read a page of Scripture. Randy has discipled and mentored numerous people at SCC, including some of our leaders. He has a passion for leading people to faith in Jesus (even skeptics!) and then walking them through the steps to maturity in Christ. His most recent book is called God the Son: What John’s Portrait of Jesus Means and Why it Matters (Wipf & Stock, 2018).
